It's all for sale in Costa Rica - you just need to know where to look
I actually found some crumpet rings here (crumpets are similar to English muffins), while I was looking for some other kitchen device that might substitute (tuna cans did not work), thinking I'd never find crumpet rings in Costa Rica.
The moral of the story is, you may not find what you're looking for in our corner of the country, but don't give up!
And when you find that item, buy it on the spot! Because it may not be there when you return 20 minutes later.
